Personally I would want a completely custom model. It would be more flexible than having to work with than the model from MvC3, TvC, or MMX8.
Why?
Custom articles to boot maybe, plus, we could make our over version (visually) of Zero this way...
It's too bad I lack the skill to actually do that...

i got around thinking and came to the conclusion that making brawlbox CSP would be better since i would be able to make CSP for the retextures...
so i´ll wait for the model

Definitely NOT the MMX8 model. It's disgusting and needs to burn in a fire. Not only does Zero just look wrong in general, but there's also the fatal mistake of him holding his sword in his right hand rather than his left (which he should and I have know idea why the modellers of MMX8 decided to change it).
Also Velen just so you know, custom articles are more than possible even without a custom model. They're in two separate places.
And I'll add all the guys that offered up to do something to the OP now.

like me to help with PSA coding
since i learn afew ticks how to get a action in special tab to feel like 2x actions in PSA (if needed for zero)
i dont think i can help so much with Animations so i almost dont know Zero only from a megaman game i played from really long time since
so PSA Coding and maybe Find good GFXs to the attacks
i can maybe also try to find a model of zero if needed

Well since I'm not starting the Zero straight away, there may be changes. I've put question marks next to everyone's name. It's kind of a "Pending" stage. Once it's all been definitely confirmed and the project gets under way, I'll remove all the question marks.
