Did you add those bones to any of the skin modifiers? That's usually what it is when it says something about losing geometric information.
all the bones are skinned and rigged. |

I guess you can double check just to be sure they didn't get removed somehow. Well I also got that error the other day when I deleted part of the model after already adding the skin modifier, and I had to start over with the rig. Either some bones got removed, or you might just have to redo it.  |
