Hi guys, I want to use this thread to make an advice.
I'm gonna ask you for some personal work. Get all of your non-nulled-normal imports, and open them with brawlbox 0.65b (stable, not beta). For each, delete the textures folder and preview your model.
If it looks like this:
Then, export it as .dae, and import that .dae back to brawlbox. Do it with the newer one, not older versions. Those shadows should be fixed when doing this.
Just do this for all your imports, and update them in the vault. Let's try to keep the vault full of quality imports, cause those shader problems should be something in the past now.
Thanks to all who do this for the community :3
- PS: In some cases like ds22's Melee Fox, in which the normals were manually fixed, there will be only a few glitchy parts, but there will be (manual fixes are never perfect). Importing again won't solve them, so if you want to fix, you'll need to export it to 3dsmax (normals get resetted here) and import it back to brawlbox.
-PS2: If your model doesn't even look similarily to the Fox picture, and it's dark, or the light comes from another direction, you need the 3dsmax fix too. Follow
this tutorial to understand.
