Hi, two questions about texture hacking...

Can you make any texture for any character transparent? and how do you make transparent? Im using photo shop and have tried to make transparent on some of captain falcons sprites but I havent succeeded...

The second question... What are CF's files "02cap_bodyHigh" and "08siro" used for?

Here's my texture btw: http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=399.0

Thanks! Grin

No. Read the FAQ --- there is a section specifically about transparency.

And both those are basically specularity --- that is... the "shine" of an object. Basically... you can shape it / dim it. Additionally, the spec texture of his defines how much lighting his outfit recieves --- allowing for the appearance of smooth / rough segments.

Not all characters can be transparent.  For example, none of Mario's texture parts can be transparent except for his eye iris and Final Smash eye; Picano has proven this himself since he tried to make Mario transparent at one point.

Its not the texture that has transparency, its the model.
