I was wondering how this is done, because I can see this opening up a CRAPLOAD of possibilities. I saw what a lighting change did to jungle japes on stack smash and got thinking...could this get rid of the stupid red fog stuff in the backround on halberd....or the sand on mushroomy kingdom? could you put luigi's mansions lighting on, say, onett and make an EPIC THREED? how far could this go?!

the sand in Mushroomy Kindgom is just a texture, you can make it transparent.
just like the snow in the MetalGear stage.
for Onett and stuff, I dunno, I'll look into it. It's not done with textures but I guess it could be modified with BrawlBox.

The sand I'm talking about isn't a texture it's more of a fog. have you ever noticed that if you use the unrestricted pause camera code and zoom out in mushroomy kingdom or halberd this fog sort of happens in the background? in the halberd its red and in the mushroomy kingdom it's tan. I want to know how to change that and the lighting. I was just wondering if the were related to each other

oh. this.
it kinda ruins my Rainbow Road map, cuz instead of being pitch black, the background gets grey-ish.

one reason I want to change this is because there are all these "Daytime Halberd" textures, but when you play them, the level has that dang red fog that throws the whole thing off...
