Don't know about Giga. I mean, I could get the independent code to find out. But I won't know how to take it out. Or if I leave it there it might freeze on me.

Something similar happened to me with fox. even though i had never even added a texture for him. I fixed him by deleting his entire folder in Fighter and redownloading it, then inserting it back

Honestly, I know some of the codes. But since this was my friends SD card, I don't even know what's in there. I mean, if I take some stuff off I might do a bigggg mistake. Since I do not know how to mess with it like that.

Hrm...
Might be an issue with the disc that's happened to spring up at the same time. You should try running the game without hacks via the disc channel to see if Bowser will work. If not, there's a chance that the disc might be scratched or something. (Maybe borrow a friend's disc that you know works to test?)
I know there are codes to fix stages, the "My Music Reset" codes, but I've never heard of codes to fix characters before ._.'
