A friend of mine (and his own pals too) somehow need help, as they were told that newer Wiis (NOT WiiUs, but those Wiis which are not compatible with GameCube games) CANNOT have the Homebrew Channel installed on them, so these dudes lost all hopes of using the wonderful hacks out there in the Vault. I'm asking this question for my best bud and his friends; is there a way to install HomeBrew stuff on those newer Wiis? My pal said he would do something great for me if I was able to install Homebrew stuff on his Wii... BTW, his Wii is deep black, but I dunno which version he has, though.

I lost EVERYTHING from my DropBox storage due to the server crashing, so I no longer have my hacks on the Vault... Sorry! Sad

You could try getting homebrew via SmashStack... It reads the boot.elf file through Brawl's Stage Builder.

Smash Stack should work, it apparently works for all system menu versions. worth a shot.

my wii broke a recently and i bought another one with latest systemware and it worked fine.

    EDIT:
