    PRIMID


    So, you might've noticed that poor Primid beta moveset sitting in my vault. Maybe? Possibly? Well, beta no more. I'm finishing it. I've been doing animations and coding more or less secretly with it the past few weeks, so I'm pretty far.

    This is more or less a thing to get my feet wet. Creating quality animations and the like. You can see the moveset below. It's using KJP's moveset starter guide. (You'll have to pardon my horrible formatting skills. I'll see what I can do to clean that up when I have time...)

    It was originally over Diddy, but my animations blew that FitMotion out the water. Diddy's was 1300 kb or so, and I had pushed it up to around 3000 kb. So I ported it to Bowser. Bowser's FitMotion STARTS at around 3000 kb, haha.

    So yeah. It's over BOWSER:

    PRIMID Moveset.

    Command:         A
    [Animation Complete]
    Description:         A simple punch.
    Power:            Weak
    Direction:                           Stationary (For combo)

    Description:               A boxer's hook to the stomach.

    Description:                     A 360 spin kick.

                   Primid plants his arms into the ground and launches his upper body.
                   He lands a headbutt then uses his arms to rebound back like a rubber band.

    Description:              Primid does an overhead->downward punch.
    Power:            Kill potential
    Direction:                 Sakurai Angle

    Command:         U-Tilt

    Description:
                   Primid grabs the ground with his right hand and begins to pull on it, like a rubber
                                            band. At the height of tension, Primid lets go, using the snapback of his arm to
                                            attack. (Overall this is a very quick move)

    Command:         U-Smash
    [Animation Incomplete]
    Description:              Primid loosens the slack in his arms and allows them to hang on the ground. He
                                            then pulls the slack back in and throws a double-fisted thrust upward.

                                            Since the D-Smash is pretty much a more useful F-Smash, this will
                                            double as the U-Smash and D-Smash
    Power:            Killing Potential
    Direction:                 Upward

    [Animation Complete]
    Description:              Primid oulls in his extremities and elastically explodes them outward.

    Description:              Primid forms an overhead forward claw-swipe

    [Animation Incomplete]
    Description:              Primid whips out his gun and lets loose a spark in front of him. Pushes him back, for
                                            spacing.

    Description:              Primid pulls off a Meteor Stomp
    Power:            Killing potential

    Description:              Primid whips out his gun and swings overhead-down behind him.

    Description:      Primid spews flames from his gun.

    NOTE: Yeah, this one's simply just Bowser's coding. At least until I (Or you) can think of something better.

    Description:      Primid does a counter-less counter by turning to metal and avoiding damage. (bad lag

    Aw man, shoulda put him over Toon Link. You'd probably be able to rig him over TL pretty easy I imagine and keep most of the extraneous animations like swimming, climbing, etc, and used the boomerang too.

    why rig him?
    just add bones to make him work on the desired character, also, unrigged bones are usefull for stationary hitboxes (vBrawl uses translating the hitbox from bone 0)

    why rig him?
    just add bones to make him work on the desired character, also, unrigged bones are usefull for stationary hitboxes (vBrawl uses translating the hitbox from bone 0)

    Yeah, I'm just using the original skeleton with added bones. No need to re-rig or add any materials or things like that, which I like.

    Another thing is, if I really want TL's animations I can still use them. BJ's edit all feature makes it pretty simple.

    (That, and using the boomerang isn't at the top of my priority list, haha)

    I would recommend over toonlink cause you got access to boomerang, bombs and arrows

    but for forward B? since he is over bowser, you could give him a grab? cause bowser have access to it already in module file! like grabbing the opponent, when throw him on a way so the opponent spins like a beyblade, when it stops the opponent is all confused which give you a opponent to strike!
    would be funny if primid also got confused but recovers faster than the opponent.

    or he can jump on a bullet bill and ride on that, if it hits a opponent or a wall you take damage by the explosion but its deadly?

    Hmm. I suppose I could use TLink maybe for the arrows. That'd require porting everything AGAIN though. Hmm. Those are some ideas I'll add to the pool.

    Also, I added the Recolors I made for Primid to the OP. (The new BrawlBox is so USEFUL!)

    I also have more free time now, haha. Time to get things done.

    Suggestions for the specials:
    For special N take the coding from project M so then he can slightly aim, raise the horizontal momentum in the floating points and that should make it be more like a flmaethrower xD
    Special D is exactly what I would've thought of except I also thought that if it was used in the air he would fall extremely quickly and spike things down with the pitfall flag.
    Special S he takes out a beam sword rushes forward and if he hits an enemy he slashes quickly then throws it at them. (Or he just has the primid green beam sword added and it appears and disappears? =P)

    you can make a model changer so when you taunt he become fire primid with diffrent moves or same just with fire also me and some other people was going to do a psa of him over link but bowser is way better or even toonlink

    Wow. Has it really been more than three weeks?

    ANYways, here's a U-Smash. I have some other things too, but I'll post those in a bit since they're coding and actually require video. Really gotta fix that habit of not telling folks the things I'm doing.

    I've yet to animate the feather, but it should be fine otherwise.

    Pretty good animation, as for thoughts on the moveset as a whole I'd like to see you expand on the abilities that have already been given to Primids in SSE.  For example, Brawl established that Primids (at least Fire Primids) can breathe fire and so you could take it a step further and have him charge up and spew a fireball or a burst of flame.  Just some food for thought, I do like the creativity that's exhibited in the moveset and this whole "elastic" concept.

    That's a pretty good idea. I mean, the FSmash has flames, but not much else. I'll see what I can do about adding more Fire Primid influence.

    I was actually planning on overwriting the transformation so I could try making Giga Bowser a second character later.

    It was probably going to be something having to do with Shadow Bugs.

    I've actually made a lot of progress on the PSA. I should keep this thread updated, lol.
