Alright, just finished testing filling every CBliss slot with various mods and I can happily report that I had no issues aside from that one I mentioned earlier. Everyone works perfectly! Now for the painstaking process of setting up all the CSPs.
But anyway, once again amazing stuff here and it all works like a charm!

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/zxehz4fuc1gq21m/Project%20M.txt

This is my text file here for P:M with the cBliss stuff added after getting rid of the lines you specified and after modifying the ones for the Pokemon characters.

No matter what I do, the match loads up just fine and so do the extra textures, but the second the announcer tries to say "GO!" the game locks up and freezes.

I've tested the files outside of P:M and everything works fine. It's something about the GCT, and I followed everything you said to a tee and did it several times and even used Taiko's gct and it STILL did the same thing, which makes me think there's a bit of an error in what you told us to do.

So if you could, please actually test things out in P:M yourself in order to find out what works, could you?

Just curious, but have you tried MW's 3.5.3 File Patch Code? I just finished filling up all my characters with a bunch of testures. Just need to double check that I've got the PACs and PCSs done all correctly. Reading through the last couple of pages, am I right in saying that you *need* default textures (fitcharacter00) whether you want altered ones or not?

Now I just tried it for Sonic. Both my 03 and 06 Sonics load up just fine, but as soon as it's about to say "GO", it freezes.

Maybe there's something else wrong elsewhere.
I may have some solutions. I have a lot of experience with customizing the PM codes since I'm a member myself, and I have a very customized version of PM that I use for myself.

First of all, tell me EXACTLY what was changed. I don't wanna go read through all the pages.

    1. What codes did you change around?

    2. Did you edit or change .rels at all?

I get that type if freeze if I do any of the above.

Sometimes I get that freeze randomly. If I defragment my SD card, it usually fixes it. So I would try that also.

I'm going to try to find a way to help you guys out and get this working with 2.5b.

If this is what a lot of people want, we should start a new thread for it

"All the pages"? The answer to the question you just asked was 2 posts below the post you quoted, as well as up higher on THIS page.

Okay, even NORMAL outfits are freezing now. What's wrong with this friggin code?

All the outfits load just fine, but no matter what I did, the game ALWAYS freezes everytime the game tries to say "GO!" at the beginning of the match, and changing the info.pac in the info2 folder doesn't help either. Even using the vanilla file for it doesn't help. No matter what I do it just keeps freezing again and again and again. It's the only problem I'm having now and I wasn't having it until I got Taiko's gct, since he's the ONLY person who has been able to get this working with P:M.

Seriously, I'm fresh out of patience. What the hell is wrong with this thing? No instructions are helping and repeating them over isn't going to magically help us either. No, defragging doesn't help either. It's not a magical "fix everything" button and I did give it a shot.

I'm starting to think that this just won't work right with P:M unless someone from thee takes a look at it, but seeing as it keeps getting ignored whenever it's brought up in their Social Thread, I don't think the PMBR is even interested in cBliss, so that's probably not happening either.

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/zxehz4fuc1gq21m/Project%20M.txt

So if you could, please actually test things out in P:M yourself in order to find out what works, could you?

If that's not enough, just look at the list of things ASF1nk said to do to begin with, because that's exactly what I did and nothing more as far as the codeset goes.

    To recap.

"It does work on PM or whatever mod you want to use, just gotta know how to GCT Edit. Which most people here fail miserably at.

Anyways Marth works he will just use FitMarth03.pac as blue team, not the purple one or whatever it currently is.

Chard, Squirtle, and Ivy my guess is they have a code affecting them.

Here are the original Costume offset for said characters.
    0x80455620 804553AC Charizard
    0x80455630 804553B8 Squirtle
    0x80455640 804553C4 Ivysaur

First column is memory address second is the value at that address.

So using the search feature on your text file
search for 804553AC [chard], and replace with 80455334
search for 804553B8 [squirt], and replace with 80455334
search for 804553C4 [Ivy], and replace with 80455334

I know what the problem is.
I had no idea they were editing the Wario costumes, but turns out they are.
Here is Wario's default costume offset.

    Wario Costume color offset
    0x80455334 05000001
    0x80455338 02050302
    0x8045533c 08040103
    0x80455340 02060007
    0x80455344 01090308
    0x80455348 070A090B
    0x8045534c 0C000000

Search for the values in the first column with out the first 80.
If any match delete the whole line.
For example you will search first for 455334.
    then 455338, etc."

That should really be it for PM.

And like I said, I've tested the files outside of P:M and they all work just fine, including the modified menus. The problem clearly lies with the parts ASF said to modify.

I feel like I'm so close, yet so far from making all of this work, I tried everything I could with what I know to combine cBliss with Melee/64 Stage Expansion, but for some reason, I get this now:

Rather than this (which is what I had when the Stage Expansion pack was by itself):

I'm about to give up. Does anyone have a .gct file with all of that included in it? (Melee/64 Expansion and cBliss and possibly Unlock all characters)

Wario is edited because we have his Classic costume as the default costume for his slots. However, the character .pacs/.pcs Are the same. The code must just affect the order they appear in the CSS.

For Zard and the Pokemon, we have team slot edits. Default Zard is red team, and we have a new recolor in the 01 slot.

Same with the other characters with slot edits.

I think I have access to the original .txt with the labeled codes. I'll take a look at that sometime soon.

I can't give you guys the .txt, but I'll look for the codes relating to what ASF said could cause issues.

I will need help with this, since coding is not at all my specialty.

I was having the Go! freeze when I improperly edited my .xml file. Perhaps you should review yours, if you're using Riivolution that is.

Edit: Well Nano, I hope you have better luck than I did. I definitely don't plan to waste more time on this thing. It's not worth the trouble. >>

    No sorry I haven't, I've just been using 3.5.1.
I only needed the default textures because I had nothing replacing them. As long as a FitCharacter00 is found on my SD card that costume would load without problems. The same happened to me for Kirby's transformations that use his full model (DK, Falco, Snake etc, I believe there's a few more but I can't recall them atm.). Apparently they shouldn't need to be there, but I find they had to be for me to load it.
If you're already replacing FitCharacter00 with mods then you shouldn't have anything to worry about at all.

I just came back to KCMM since 2010 for this code alone. Great job!

I am also getting silent freezes BTW. It is to note that I am trying to make it work with PM via en edited .gct file that worked well for another user. This is a copy of the message I sent him.

Note that this was a silent freeze, which according to ASK1nk, it should only mean the game is trying to load a file but can't find it. After various attempts, I decided to erase everything on my SD card and try again. I did the following:

    1) Downloaded Project M 2.5b Full Set
    - Extracted it into my SD Card (empty).

    2) Downloaded cBliss 1.5 [Wario Fixed]
    - Extracted it into my SD Card and replaced any duplicate file.

    3) Downloaded cBliss Modified PM.zip
    - Extracted everything to my SD card, and again, replaced any duplicate file.

The game loaded perfectly, then I arrived at the Character Select Screen. The custom "06", "07", "08" etc. CSPs were all visible. Selected "06" Fox and "07" Fox to fight. When into the Stage Selection Screen when I noticed the symbol for the "Dracula Castle" stage was now replaced with that it originally replaced, "Luigi's Mansion". Chose Final Destination, Smashville, and Battlefield, and the game silent froze every occasion.

I load the game with the Homebrew Channel and load the codes with the Gecko provided by the Project M website.

What could it be? I also tried loading the game before step 3 (on step 2) and the game loaded with a different CSS and a different order of CSPs (correct 6-10 order). Chose 06 and 07 Fox again and the little icon on top (below P1 and P2 at the SSS) were shown as blue and red boxes instead of Fox's face. Would greatly appreciate any help.

    @MrUnusual
Just delete the sc_selmap.pac and use the one that came with Melee/64 stage expansion.
    ------------------------------------
Okay guys, I personally went and tested cBliss for PM and works fine for me so far.
Only issue I saw is that independent Pokemon freeze when selecting the same color. Pokemon Trainer wouldn't let you do this normally, but for obvious reason this was by design by the PMBR.

Anyways, here is what I did step by step.
Open PM's 2.5b gct on GCTedit
    Copy TXT to note pad.
Searched for ''804553AC'' [Chard] 1 match replaced with 80455334
searched for ''804553B8'' [Squirt] 1 match replaced with 80455334
searched for ''804553C4'' [Ivy] 2 matches replaced with 80455334
    Now for Wario
Searched for ''455334'' 1 match deleted whole line
Searched for ''455338'' 1 match deleted whole line
Searched for ''45533c'' 1 Match deleted whole line
Searched for ''455340'' 1 Match deleted whole line
Searched for ''455344'' 1 Match deleted whole line
Searched for ''455348'' 1 Match deleted whole line

    Added cBliss codes
    Code:

Copied the Battle Portraits replaced all
Copied the Result Portraits replaced all
Opened PM's Common5.pac and replaced sc_selcharacter with the one from cBliss.
    Left sc_selmap alone.

    For testing I added 06, 07, 08, 09 .pac/.pcs to Captain Falcon
    and 05, 06, 07, 08, 09 .pac/.pcs to Ivy, Chard, Squirt.
    Tested in Game
Defaults for other characters worked fine.
New costumes for Captain falcon including default ones worked fine.
New costumes for pokemon and default ones worked mostly fine.
The Ind. Pokemon in PM let you choose the same color [As they intended]
but if you choose lets say Squirtle 00 and Ivy 00 it will freeze.

Here is the Text file For PM.

    EDIT:
I should mention this was tested in Gecko.

    EDIT2:
Should have mentioned this was the Wifi Safe version of PM.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------
    Riivo people upon further testing
I noticed a few errors on the XML and on the CSPs for Wario.
He is still missing his last 2 costumes.

But so far seems like you need to have all the character files before testing
    That means FitCharacter00.pac/.pcs to FitCharacter09.pac/.pcs.
If you only put lets say FitFalco06.pac/.pcs the game will likely freeze even if you selected FitFalco00.pac/.pcs
So, Please try adding all the character files before testing and see if it works for you.

Ah well, I'll be trying it myself soon anyhow. But yeah that's what I was trying to find out, that you NEED to have the files present on the SD Card whether you want mods for those slots or not. Nice to know!

This is freaking awesome and I love it! After spending two days getting my UI into the provided cBliss v1.5 PAC files, making a list of all my skins, and getting them on the SD card, things are playing smoothly! I haven't hit any snags yet and I tested skins all day long, including special ones like FitSonic03 (with skin added) and FitMario00 (no skin, defaulting to disc) Thanks a lot! So many characters have too many good skins to fit so this helps a lot! (if not just gives me something more to do in preparing SDs) Now to finish making CSPs & BPs for all the new skins I'm using!

Are there any plans (or is it even a possibility?) to make it so each character's #7-9 skins are a second set of team battle skins like Wario's? I'd be ecstatic if you got that working.

For reference: I'm playing Brawl+ (used Mewtwo2000's GCT Fusionizer program, may wanna add that to the OP) using the latest Configurable USB Loader and an un-modded ISO with File Patch Code 3.5.1.

I don't play P:M (as noted above) but as for why the images and names that were originally replaced but are no longer replaced I do have an answer. The PACs in the kit are clean for vBrawl, thus they have the original UI (User Interface). To replace the images of your UI with the P:M images you've been using, go into your corresponding P:M PACs and Extract the following files, then Replace them into the cBliss PACs:

    sc_selcharacter
    MiscData[30]: Character Select Screen Data
MiscData[70]: Character Select Icon Data (maybe not but I did)

    sc_selmap
MiscData[20]: Stage Select Screen Miscellaneous Data (likely not but I did)
    MiscData[80]: Stage Select Screen Data

If you've made any personal modifications to the UI of Group Mode (like personal CSIs or SSP, or more likely ASF1nk's flaming CSS/SSS UIs) these are the areas they are likely in (among the two vBliss PAC files) Simply take them from your current ones and put them into the cBliss ones and it should look exactly like you're used to. I did exactly this with ASF1nk's Dark Flaming Blue CSS/SSS UI modified for Brawl+ and the only difference is the additional CSPs!

ASF1nk: Feel free to add this information to the OP if you feel it's needed.

But I'm still playing plenty of Hyrule Warriors & Smash 3DS!
