    Then it might be a problem with the announcer file. Check the sampling rate of the announcer call for Snake.
    i have no announcer call over snake... lol

    only 1's i have replaced r in that vid. they r all mono and r at 16000.. so im not really sure y the hell he'd freeze anyways, but yet doesnt freeze if file is present

    It's possible when designing a stage to make sound effects play. The custom stage likely loads the soundbank of whatever stage it's on top of, so you just modify that soundbank and call the sounds from the stage.

    but i think some stages dont use sfx effects
    question is if adding sfx is possible to any stage

    also dx8 when u have time ill appreciate if I get all of them

    Then it could be because the soundbank is over the file size limit, but only the Snake character file attempts to access the memory location that the soundbank overflows. Weird, inconsistent freezes are usually caused by file size limit issues.

    just counted the sfx for stages,
    there are 40 different stages with sfx
    is that all of them?

    yes that is correct... and i figured out my freeze issue... my "kid buu" announcer call is too long.. and i cant seem to find a shorter 1 ._.

    The tempo won't change the pitch.

    Audacity has three options: Change Pitch, Change Speed, and Change Tempo. You probably used Change Speed, which affects both tempo and pitch. You need to use Change Tempo, which affects the speed of the clip but not the pitch.

    i think ur not suppose to, but has anyone tried chopping off the sampling rate in half to save space in usb loader?

    for example announcer calls call for 16000, than it wold b 8000...

    HAHAHA a thousand times yes!!! haha xD and yea... so if someone COULD find a way to just ADD sfx to a stage that normally wouldn't have one... (like final destination) that would basically open up an entirely different age of stage hacking... o.o

    might be something to think about... Tongue

    also, if you were to take any sound from the .brsar (let's say a silent sound) you could export it as .bnk then rename it to whatever you wanted (let's say the crowd chants whatever its numbers and stuff are called) and it will or should work correct? nothing special or tricky about the exporting other than naming?

    also, have anyone of you actually listened to some of the stuff in the original brawl .brsar? looking in bb... index 295 is a good example... when the heck does snake even say these things?
