Here's my take on a Final Fantasy stage: Nibelheim
This is my first stage which is still under development. I just wanted to present the project before its release so people can discuss ideas about it and at the same time help me.
CURRENT UPDATE
Lighting needs retouches.

Rel files don't have anything to do with adding models... And people aren't making many FF stages because they aren't generally interested in doing so.
DSX8 makes/has made some, I believe.
No hacks have ever been taken down or prevented do to copyright.

Thanks for you reply! Isn't the Rel file the one you need to edit for stage hit boxes? The propeller thing would hurt.

its not possible to add hit-box's to stage yet
and yes, im the only 1 that does make final fantasy stages.. but only from the PSP games (like dissidia)..
anyways, from the looks of it, what is ur stage built over? and if it was made on FD, did u make a .rel to port the stage, or what did u do?

The rel file I have is fine, I used ONLINETRAINING over BATTLEFIELD. I use some rips of Crisis Core for this. Here's the PAC file I have. When testing the stage, although it's all black, I noticed that I need to scale it up a lot but I'm gonna work on this when I can actually see what it's like in the game. http://www.dlaurin.com/STGNIBELHEIM.rar

This looks cool. I'm a fan. Hope you get this to work. As far as I can tell, the scaling isn't bad at all. It's size seems similar to Onett's. I hope you animate the sky or something.

Any plans on having a version on the ground as well? I love Nibelheim.

Alright, I hope you plan on doing some MAJOR work on this stage. You can see it looks nothing like the image shows.
Some materials need transparency, the lighting direction and RGB values need to be changed, and it needs a shadow system. Wouldn't hurt to add some color nodes to make it look better, and try adding a light flare. I hope to see great progress on this stage.
Also, the reason it only spawns the sandbag, from what I've read of your statement, is because you have a Wifi Training Room based .rel over it. You'll need to remove that to fix the error.

The main image is a little misleading, as it's the original FF7 version. The import is from Crisis Core, which adds the more "HD" look to it.

Here's the current updated version. Not final yet.

Items work. Now I need help with the transparency and the lighting.
