I have a request/question. I've been toying around with stage replacement - and without a doubt, yours are excellent! - but I'm a little stuck.

I've got the basic stage expansion up and running, which is great, but I've got that mostly filled with SSE stages (since they work nicely with Battlefield's music)... I'm trying to put Fourside over New Pork City and Mushroom Kingdom 64 over 75m.

Fourside works nicely and does what just what you said it does - it works without crashing, but there's the problem that the "chimera" spawns (at least, the screen gets dark and there's a lot of bitey noises). I assumed that "get a Final Destination .rel" meant "durrrr I should take FD's .rel and rename it for newpork, that will TOTALLY work" and not surprisingly I got the beep of death.

MK64-into-75m was even more terrible; it was like trying to jam a square peg into a round hole, and by that I mean "I renamed it to go in DONKEY and then I got the beep of death and then I gave up."

I don't know BrawlBox from a hole in the ground, so I have no idea where to even start to make this work... but if you give me some pointers I would be more than willing to try and do it myself! Or you could just do your wizardry and fix the files themselves and then post them for me instead of trying to beat instructions into my dumb head :V

Also... You wouldn't off the top of your head know where the textures for stage images/icons/names/game-of-origin logos are located, would you? At the very least I think I could handle editing THAT myself without crashing anything!

    Stage switcher it'll help ALOT
Use it to switch new pork to fd and then put fourside over newpork city
Same with mushroom kingdom make a rel for it to go over 75m and then put the stage pac for mushroom kingdom over 75m

Stage portraits go in common5->sc_selmap-> misc data 80 -> textures
Hope this helps let me know if there's something wrong i'll try to help when i wake up tomorrow
Oh and the rels are only compatible with NTSC region BTW

Only by having the animation and the model in the same modeldata, and being the animation the only one in that modeldata
Im adding about 7 things(About 50 kb each) on there, and the stage has only two modeldata's without animations, do you know what to do?

Make a new animation to those 2 modeldatas. If it's final destination, there're 3 modeldatas with modeldata101. How many models do you need to get animated? I mean, not only placing, but in a continuous animation

Mewtwo, when you have some time, could you do a quick background swap and give Final Destination  Battlefield's background?

    @Kit Sovereign
Also, when you're replacing the preview pictures for the stages in common5, remember that they need to be smaller (filesize-wise) than the originals, so put them in an image editor and index them.

Anyone could test this requested stage in a wii/emulator please?

As I have no wii, I can't see if it's a success or a huge fail xD

    http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?lnz2tilwldl

Also, if works fine, any pic would be appreciated so I could upload it to vault ^^U

EDIT: Check it out for both FD and Battlefield please ^^U

Also, I know I told you all I was not going to do this one, but...

Kurobit made it 2D. Then libertyernie made a better 2D version. After that, Kurobit started a 3D version. While not completed, DemonBoy started his. Yesterday, mastaklo made a preview of his. And I decided making mine xD

I'm the first one meant to make it anyway ^^U

    http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=261661&page=8

To be honest, I always wanted to make that one, but I started Fourside and Mushroom first, and then suddenly appeared the first 2D one. So for any reason I kept the idea in hold ^^U

But my thoughts have changed. Now I think... There are other versions over there... And? What's the problem? I can still make mine if I want to xD

I'll probably finish later than other versions over there. If they're good enough, I will keep this one for me, as it won't be needed O.o

The stage works, but something's wrong with the sky, I think.
It's kinda void, probably because there are no clouds. Is it supposed to be like that?

I was expecting some issues from it when played as FD. I have to rearrange models so it's not that void when played in there

Can you try it for battlefield while I try to fix it?

Too much elements for a simple 3 modeldata stage as FD. It probably works fine as a Battlefield, but as a FD it's a little poor.

Someone try this one as FD and Battlefield please ^^U

Ok i've tested it over Battlefield. It works.
The sky is right, there are clouds, but some part of the background is missing. The middle part of the river (lake) is white (but turns dark at sunset/night)
