I love your Fourside texture. The only problem I'm having with it (and I'm not sure if anyone else is, since I didn't see anyone else report this) but on the right side of the stage, like between the building on the far right and the building right next to it -- there's a glitch where the character slides forward, and it can sometimes mess them up if they're trying to recover too.
Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me? =o
Yours is a known problem. In the download I mention it I guess. You're using the stage as a simple replacement for Onett, don't you? The stage has this sliding problem when used this way. The stage works, but with that bug. If you're using some stage expansion code and you're still using Onett, then you should move the stage to Newpork or a Custom. If you don't care about onett, then you can get a final destination rel file for Onett and the problem will be fixed.
*looks over tutorial*
whew, i think im gonna have to view that again later...
one thing that might help that tutorial is if you add pics... and i think i can help clean it up a bit.. your english isnt horrible, but for tutorials it goes a long way to be clear and concise on what your trying to explain
i have a friend that came here from puerto rico, he speaks english fine, but his grandparents have a hard time expressing complicated ideals.. they start speaking to me in a sort of spanglish and his grandfather has all kinds of breathing problems so he is so hard to understand... half the time i have to look back at my friend in a cynical face wondering what the hell he is talking about... my friend just shrugs his shoulders, which makes me wonder if even he understood what he said!
anyway, sorry i had to go and tell you my life story
, just poking in to see if you were done with my stage yet,
im being patient
its just so hard to wait!
You're right, I lack being clear and concise, but that's not a language problem of mine, I am that way in my own language too xD
I should re-order the information and add some pics ^^U
I LOVE your stuff! You are my favorite brawl hacker.
I just wanted you to know that.
And aslo, I would like to know how you made the Battle Field 64.
Well, thanks xD
Battlefield 64 is made with stage builder blocks, properly vertex edited with dasdonkey vertex box and anim8tor. I took a 3D scene from the n64 emulator and I resized it in order to make it match with the real size for it, by using both an n64 yoshi and the brawl yoshi, in 3DS max. Then I vertex hacked every block by looking to the values for each vertex in the original one, took the original textures, and made the stage. The main ground was done in one day, and the platforms were made in 1 more day. Once done, using mathematics and my head, resized it to make it have the exact size of the brawl battlefield.
The next day or so, I invented the shadow system and included the shadows in every ground of the stage xD
