You mean textures? Basically, you use a program, VBrawl, projecft M, brawl+ and you put the Texture(Costume as you put it. and you put it into the Character slot it is supposed to be in.
For instance. SonicFit00 goes into the Sonic folder.
For Project M it's Project M > PF > Fighter > Sonic
Normally, if it doesn't work on the one you pout it on, for instance, I have a texture for Zero Suit Samus, I did it as SZeroSuit03 and it didn't work for the third coustome, so I went into training and tested all the costume, it worked on the second costume.
Not sure why. As I had a red and a teal one. Aw well. But yeah, try that.

Sorry. I was just answering his question. Seemed rude to just brush him off and say go to the tutorial thing. Where he'll most likely not get an answer.

I'm not the likely candidate to be in a drama club, cuz a couple here witnessed that I'm bad at it, but I just meant the following: You don't even have to ask the tutorial section, they all already contain all the information you need, from the basics to advance. Trust me, its the best way to learn to build up an sd card... I learned by reading every post and every word there, and believe me, all other mods and staff members would had said the same thing. I haven't fired bullets sir, and I hope you won't either. Also, my post wasn't directed to you. @Potato, would you like a link of a tutorial that explains how the character slots work? It's pretty useful and easy to understand.

I didn't mean it to fre bullets, either. I was just explaining. I am sorry if it seemed harsh. I tend to speak that way, without meaning to. And I agree with you, this isn't the place, as it is feedback and what not. Not for asking for tutorials.

Thanks @Albafika, now that this is in the correct place, I can help without the risk of being warned...
New to modding I see, well, lets run down the basics shall we? Welp, it seems you already have project m, so its a huge leap fowards... Now here's the tricky part everyone seems to have trouble with understanding. It is not very hard to understand at all, read carefully. NTSC-U: private/wii/app/RSBE/pf/fighter PAL: private/wii/app/RSBP/pf/fighter NTSC-J: private/wii/app/RSBJ/pf/fighter Now, inside fighter you have a specific folder for each character based on how their names are stored on the disc, the list for that is below. Captain Falcon: captain King Dedede: dedede Diddy Kong: diddy Donkey Kong: donkey Falco: falco Fox: fox Mr. Game & Watch:gamewatch Ganondorf: ganon GIGA Bowser: gkoopa Ike: ike Kirby: kirby Bowser: koopa Link: link Lucario: lucario Lucas: lucas Luigi: luigi Mario: mario Marth: marth Meta Knight: metaknight Ness: ness Peach: peach Pikachu: pikachu Captain Olimar: pikmin Pit: pit Ivysaur: pokefushigisou Charizard: pokelizardon PokÈmon Trainer:poketrainer Squirtle: pokezenigame Ice Climbers: popo Jigglypuff: purin R.O.B.: robot Samus: samus Sheik: sheik Snake: snake Sonic: sonic Zero Suit Samus:szerosuit Toon Link: toonlink Wario: wario Warioman: warioman Wolf: wolf Yoshi: yoshi Zelda: zelda Green Alloy: zakoball Yellow Alloy: zakochild Blue Alloy: zakogirl Red Alloy: zakoboy So, a directory for Captain Falcon would look like this: private/wii/app/RSBE/pf/fighter/captain 7. Once you have the textures you want, you need to name the texture file the color you want to replace. Each number represents a color of that character, so, 00 = default, 01 = first color, 02 = second color and so on. Now, the order of the colors can be quite confusing for each character so here is a convenient list of that below. Captain Falcon 00-Original 01-Blood Hawk 02-Green 03-Blue 04-Black 05-Pink Dedede 00-Original 02-Green 03-White 04-Grayscale 05-Purple 06-Pink Diddy Kong 00-Original 02-Green 03-Blue 04-Pink 05-Yellow 06-Purple Donkey Kong 00-Original 01-Red 02-Green 03-Blue 04-Black 05-White Falco 00-Original 01-Red 02-Green 03-Blue 04-Black 05-Yellow Fox 00-Original 01-Red 02-Green 03-Blue 04-Black 05-White Ganondorf 00-Original 01-Red 02-Green 03-Blue 04-Grandpa Ganon 05-Brown Ike 00-Original 01-Red 02-Green 03-Blue 04-Another Kind Of Green 05-Yellow Kirby 00-Original 01-Red 02-Green 03-Blue 04-Yellow 05-White Bowser 00-Original 01-Red 03-Blue 04-Black 05-Pimp Gold 06-Brown Link 00-Original 01-Red 03-Blue 04-Dark 05-White/Light Blue 06-Yellow Lucario 00-Original 01-Red 02-Green 04-Light Blue 05-White Lucas 00-Original 01-Red 02-Green 03-Blue 04-Claus 05-Pink/Purple Luigi 00-Original 01-Red 02-UNUSED-Blue 03-Blue 04-Fire Luigi 05-Orange 06-Waluigi Mario 00-Original 02-Green 03-Jumpman 04-Wario 05-Black 06-Fire Mario Marth 00-Original 01-Red 02-Green 03-Blue 04-Black 05-White Meta-Knight 00-Original 01-Red 02-Green 03-Blue 04-White 05-Pink Ness 00-Original 02-Green 03-Blue 04-Bumble-Bee 05-Fuel 06-Mr.Saturn Peach 00-Original 01-Red 02-Green 03-Blue 04-White 05-Daisy/Yellow Pikachu 00-Original 01-Cap 02-Bandana 03-Googles Olimar 00-Original 01-Red 02-Green 03-Blue 04-White 05-Dirty Helmet (Yellow and Black) Pit 00-Original 01-Red 02-Green 03-Blue 04-Gold 05-Black Pokemon Trainer 00-Original 01-Red 02-Green 03-Blue 04-Light Ice Climbers 00-Original 01-Red 02-Green 03-Blue 04-Dark 05-Light Jigglypuff 00-Normal 01-Flower 02-Sleep Hat 03-Japan Hat 04-Trainer Cap ROB 00-Original 02-Green 03-Blue 04-Pink/Purple 05-Yellow 06-NES Samus 00-Original 01-Pink 02-Green 03-Fusion/Blue 04-Gravity Suit/Purple 05-Dark Suit/Black Zelda 00-Original 01-Red 02-Green 03-Blue 04-Black 05-Ocarina of Time colors Snake 00-Original 01-Red/Black 02-Green 03-Blue 04-"IDK WTF this is" camo 05-Wild Feline camo Sonic 00-Original 01-Red 02-Green 04-Gold 05-Black Toon Link 00-Original 01-Red 03-Blue 04-Purple 05-NES Link 06-Dark Wario 00-Original (WarioWare) 01-Red (WarioWare) 02-Green (WarioWare) 03-Blue (WarioWare) 04-Black & Red (WarioWare) 05-Orange & Blue (WarioWare) 06-Original (Overall) 07-Red (Overall) 08-Green (Overall) 09-Blue (Overall) 10-WarioLand 2 color (Overall) 11-WarioLand 3 color (Overall) Wolf 00-Original 01-Red 02-Green 03-Blue 04-Black 05-Red & White Yoshi 00-Original 01-Red 03-Blue 04-Yellow 05-Pink 06-Light Blue Here's an example of what a Captain Falcon texture file would be named if it were replacing his 01 color: FitCaptain01.pcs And here's what the directory would look like with that finally included: private/wii/app/RSBE/pf/fighter/captain/FitCaptain01.pcs Every character does NOT need their .pac file but, you need to name the .pac file the same way you named the .pcs file except without the .pcs extension (just the .pac extension instead) so Captain Falcon's .pac file would look like this: FitCaptain01.pac (of his first color, you need to change the number according to what you set it to for the .pcs, this is merely an example, it will not always be 01). The characters who DO need their .pac files are below: Samus/ZSS Zelda/Sheik PT Bowser Wario .pac files are mostly used for the other modes outside of versus modes, so, you do not need them if they are not the characters above. The reason why the characters above need them are for their transformations, otherwise, the textures get lost in the sea of the abyss when you transform or switch (PT). Also, for ZSS, you may need to use a CSS code with her to get her to work better (as her textures need to be loaded from the CSS if you are using v 1.1). 8. If your textures did not work, make sure your directory is set up accordingly or you didn't mess up on the color choice, check EVERY color if you really don't know which one you put it on. The codes DO work, you're just doing something wrong. This is as simple as it could be... For project m, it would be projectm\pf Roy and Mewtwo have their own folders too, I only know the primary colours: 00-default 01-Red 02-Blue 03-green If you notice extra numerations other than the ones noted above, these are the alts and bonus colours of pm. @Gifted, this will help you a ton too! If you follow this well, you will know how to do this stuff. c:

Swag. Thanks, Albafika.
And I know how to do colors, Scout. Normally, I just do Favorite to least favorite, when I do my custom colors.
But with Zero Suit Samus, it confused me, because Even though I did SZeroSuit03, which means it should have been on the 3rd or 4th color, it was on the second color. U c wut i mene, jell-3 bene?

Oh okay, thanks! I was being too careful. I now for the next time. But with Zero Suit Samus, it confused me, because Even though I did SZeroSuit03, which means it should have been on the 3rd or 4th color, it was on the second color. U c wut i mene, jell-3 bene?
Was that last part french? I don't speak the language... I forgot to mention a key thing for potato first... it could be usefull for you too... But its a bit complicated, you might need to pay close attention: Focus more from 01-03 for this one: souce: the legendary cBliss project Every character has these patterns, no exceptions, (only G&W) Of course, some character's default color represents a team color too... these only affects the team colour, again, from 01-03 Example: Bowser, Luigi, Yoshi and Link/Toon Link doesn't have an 02 (green) since the 00 (default) is already green making 02 an imaginary or unnecessary thing. Mario, ROB and Ness doesn't 01 (red) since 00 (default) is already red. Sonic and Lucario do not have 03... However ZSS 00 cannot be 03. since Samus (suit) default its no blue, therefore the other color blue ZSS has is what you will change with 03. Now, as the answer to your question FitSzerosuit03, the caps order of writing these stuff doesn't really matter, all that does is to pay close attention for any misspelled words and numerations. That's the first thing. Second, 03 means blue, so just look for the location of a blue color she has other than 00. The numerations do not mean their locations on the menu, just the color, remember that. Did I get too technical?

Lol, It was "You know what I mean, Jelly Bean?" But in a more of a.... Noober speak. I tend to be lazy. It's not easy doing perfect grammar 24/7, Love.
And no, you didn't. It's just, I had my Red trexture on FszeroSuitsamus02 and My Legionnaire on FitSzerosuit03.
(Mind you, when I actually put them in, it's the actual names, not my miss-spellings)
At first Red worked over the second re-color, then I put in teal and even though they were two different colors, it still went over the second, replacing my Red one. If that makes any sense.
Obvoiously, I can just kink and tink with it and it'll work, so this was just a whole bunch of non-sense, l0l.
