I was playing a match with my friends, and I had updated the soun file, and was going to exit "Special Brawl" and it froze. I tried it multiple times, but it keeps freezing. Every mode. Training, HRC, Multi-Man, Events, SSE, Tourney, all of it... Any ideas?

I am using the RSBE Soundbank Replacement code, and put the .sawnd it my sfx folder of my SD card. It actually had a lower filesize than the one I had before. Anyway, I'm not using a .brsar. Should I format my SD card, and then re-copy everything on there?

I think i can help. Perhaps the sfx was customized to big and isnt able to load it (i think the sfx wasnt made right.)
Usally when people make there own sfx, they have to stay at certain point of the file size. Sadly people dont listen and just put high quality audio with a really high rate (only for brtsms is that allowed.) In example :
The sound rate for Marios death scream is at 22050. This should be the main rate number for all sounds being put in a sfx. Otherwise it will not work (freeze).
The safe thing to do is either fix the recently inserted sfx or find a trusty one that works.

    Hope this helped
