    trying to get into vertex hacking. can't get ahold of  3ds max, so im stuck with blender. apparently, u need to open the .3ds file in anim8or and export it so it can be used in blender. well, i downloaded anim8or, and i can't get it to work. i double click the .exe, it takes a while to do anything, but when it does, its only an error and nothing else. any help on what to do? it won't work on windows 7 or xp.

    What graphics card do you have? That makes the difference.

    Hmm...Other users have an ATI Radeon graphics card but some of them seem to have problems with anim8or. I'm sorry I can't help more. I have an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator so anim8or can't even open on my com.
