Has anybody else been having a problem with Snake? For me, selecting him almost guarantees a freeze. I've already redownloaded the package, too.

Sorry about that, the next update won't have any issues with characters freezing

im having a probelm with this project m for the hackless version....its makin my controller go bonkers when the gecko os project m + screen pops up in stage builder.....is it that my controler is not th right  brand or something? im starting to think that maybe im missing something on my end with the brawlex thing....can you make a youtube video or something on how to dowload it correctly....ive just stuck the data into the sd card like any other project m all by itself so im kindly lost on whats going on with it

Hmmm, not sure what the problem could be. However, I think the next update won't give you this issue, because I started over because there were just to many bugs. Hopefully it'll work for you

(Edit:) You could always try the normal project m launcher, that might work.

Im happy to say that i have fixed the sfx!

I simply added the code in through GCT Analyzer, And now Young Link, Roy, & Mewtwo have their sfx working!

Pichu still uses Pikachu SFX, And Roy has a quiet announcer call. So im going to fix that now.

See thats where I'm at now, but I have a separate sound bank for pichu's sfx as well. Now it's just a matter of adding the sounds to the moves. Then it just leaves doc, then I'm done. Also roy's announcer sfx won't sound quiet.

Sorry for being absent guys. School has been consuming all of my time.

I hate to ask, but is there an estimate on the next release? I'm having lots of fun with the current build, and even added in my old costumes and stages from my regular build, but even after multiple of my own bug fixes, the build is still extremely glitchy. All I'm saying is, if you already have a lot of the bugs fixed, and sound effects working, and what-have-you, it may just be better to release a version before 1.0 or 0.7, especially if school's going to get in the way. A 0.6 release would be really appreciated. (And it might increase the DLs enough to get you on the front page again Wink)

I may have missed it earlier in the thread, but did you specify what version of BrawlEX this is using? I keep trying to add Shadow as a clone, but it's now freezing on match startup when he's supposed to enter. This leads me to think his .rel module is incompatible. Just wanna make sure I get the right version.

Just a reminder; if any of you are using some sort of USB loader to load Brawl, make sure to go into the settings and switch the Hook Type to "AXNextFrame" before loading the game.

You guys should put that in the OP.

Also, I'm really hoping you guys have plans to get cracking on adding all these features to P:M's next release. The next update seems to be coming pretty soon.

List of things i have found to make it crash:
    DK's alternative costume
    occasionally Kirby's B+Down
    Selecting stage music
    playing events
    Dr. Mario's Final Smash

Update 0.7 is now available! Sorry for the wait guys, school is killing me. The pack is a lot more stable now. No more crashing when picking DK, Snake, and everyone else with that issue. Wasn't able to add pichus sfx, but I got young link's, also he doesn't crash anymore. Glad to see you guys are still interested Smiley

    ...Uh, guys? Big problem.

I just downloaded the hacked version aaaaand... it isn't anything. At all.

It's just a completely unstable Brawl with Brawl cosmetics and the appearance of the Stage Expansion. If it doesn't freeze on the character select, it freezes when you do a match.

:| I'm pretty miffed because I just did a ton of work optimizing my SD for this. Bleh!

Sorry, I don't have a hacked wii to test the hacked version. I just moved the files in the order that it typically is in. I guess I messed up somewhere :/ The hackless one works fine though.

Edit: I think I found the problem.

Good to see progress is happening on this pack! I've been struggling with adding a clone to it, but I assumed it might be something that would be fixed in the next release. Unfortunately this has not been the case, and I'm still having trouble. It must be something I'm doing wrong, but I've been following a ton of Brawlex tutorials. Is there some special method we need to use to add clones that isn't part of regular Brawlex? Has anybody using this pack actually added anyone extra beyond Pichu, Young Link, and the others already included?

My process has mostly been: set up new clone spot (#44) using Sammi Husky's clone tool, then I copy the fighter's module into the module folder, give it the correct id (44) in section 8 and change its module ID to something unusued (the last build I used 148, but this one I used 149). Then I add 44 right before random in the cssroster.dat and create a fighter folder using all stock files from the Brawl ISO, naming the folder and all files within it after what I've edited the fighterconfig file to be named. I think that covers just about everything. I've not tried editing any cosmetics yet, just trying to get a new clone to work. Lately I've been getting a freeze after selecting it on the CSS, whereas before I was getting it on the character's failed entrance animation.

Again, sorry if this is more of a general Brawlex question, but I just noticed the clone's IDs in the clone tool don't really match up with the numbers on their Brawlex config files, so I assumed it was something specific to this pack. Also just interested in case others who've tried it have been able to make it work, so I can narrow the problem down to something I'm doing.

I added Lucina without issue on 0.5. The PSA you're using might just be incompatible with Project M.

Except I'm not using a PSA. I've only been copying in PAC and PCS files either right from the Brawl disc or ones that are already in this pack. But at least it's good to hear that you were able to add to it, must be something I've done.

Guess I'll keep trying; I've just had terrible luck with Brawlex so far.

What soopercool101 said is true, also I think the clone tool might not work. Just add the config files in manually.
