I'm trying to edit Battlefield, and everything has been a success, but I don't know how to edit the sky. There's a skybg file that's just a gradient black-to-white, and there's another sky file that's just white clouds on a black background. Changing either of these makes the file size too large, but I know it can be done because I've seen a hacked battlefield with a different sky, ocean, terrain, ect.

So can anyone offer advice?

I think if it's black and white you can't change it.  Only how bright it is.  To
change the colour you have to change the CLR0 files, but I don't know how to do that.

Maybe I'm wrong though, I haven't textured Battlefield before.

You can change the black and white files just fine, on any texture, just make sure its black and white.

Just tried that and it didn't work. File size was too big again.
