So basically, I have character models and textures that I've ripped from a game. I would like to find a way to fit that character model onto Marth for Project M. I don't want to change his hitboxes or movesets -- only the way he looks. If possible, I want the character model to fit over Marth EXACTLY in order to avoid hits passing through him when it looks like they shouldn't and such. The problem is, I have no clue where to go from here. I have an .obj file, a .mtl file, and a .DAE file, along with the game's texture sets. I have the same sort of thing for the sword I would like to use, minus the textures sets. Can somebody please give me some direction as to how to do this? I'm basically new to this whole thing, but I would really love to do this with a lot more models and textures. Thanks if you can help!
