On the fly costume switchers v2.0 (GCC)
along with this code which is a modification of Phantom Wings's File Patch Code v3.5.1(it replaces the normal file patch code), these codes will allow you to (in a time match or in a stock match with 3 or more players) change between 12 different alternate costumes using button activators, you can also use this to switch between a character and it's PSA counterpart(note: you cannot change directly between corrosponding costumes of the 2 sets eg you can't change directly between the 1st costumes of the 1st and 2nt sets),the second set of textures (or any other custom files) goes in SD://private/apps/rsbe/mt you can also select the second set of custom files before the start of the match by holding L on the first player's controller untill the match starts

It's probably too long unless you put it in a snapshot

I don't quite understand. Let me see if this is right. So this opens up 12 possible costumes per character by splitting them into 2 sets. We can access these costumes by holding down the corresponding buttons before a match (or by On the fly you mean DURING a match?) And we HAVE to have 3 or more players in a match? I hope it's as easy and straightforward as replacing regualr textures. The fact that I could, in theory finally have Peach and Rosalina or Zero and Link separate sound almost too good to be true (not to mention having more textures available at one time.

I hope the code's refined to simply allow 12 costumes. I picture having costume switching in the middle of the match to be a little hectic.

You don't have to switch in the middle of a match if you hold L untill the match starts you will use a texture from the second set. you only have to be in a time match or a stock match with 3 or more players if you plan to switch costumes in the middle of the match

Also if you want the CSP's from the second set to show up you have to start holding L before the CSS loads

Okay I'm getting it (sorry, still a little behind as far as Brawl hacking goes ^^).

So if I did NOT care for "On-the-fly" costume switching, I only need that first code, right? And is the second set of textures still structured like the first set? Like Wario gets 12 additonal costumes with 6 for each model. Basically it would be the same as always except the textures go in a different folder?

It's in bold text on the first post for christ's sake

and yes beyond mt the folder structure is the same that you'd use for pf

and yes if you don't care about switching on the fly then you only need the first code

Okay made a new GCT with this and a camera code, and I get nothing. I tested it out by keeping all my old textures and having lensho's Rosalina Peach in the MT folder, and I get neither my original textures or the Rosalina texture. My mt is Private/Wii/app/RSBE/ along with the PF folder.

    Please help Sad

EDIT: tried putting both your code and the Phantom Wings code together (as 2 different codes). I can get my old pf textures but still can't get Rosalina Peach to show up by holding L, and when I back back out the match it freezes.

Of course you need the original pf file patch code as well I had assumed this was obvious.
The mt file patch code also needs to be below the pf one on your GCT

Just to be sure you had Rosalina peach in mt/fighter/peach right? and you held down L on the first gamecube controller starting before you selected the character with the circle and continuing to hold it down untill the match started right?
