I've been looking for the code which allows you to have a different song playing in the menu, during the character and stage selection screens. Can anyone help me?

It's called the basic file replacement code. You just have to use Riivolution with it, as music replacing doesn't work with Gecko.(At least, not that I know of)

Ah, I'm not sure you understood what I said. I have music replacement down-pat. I just need the code that allows me to change the menu theme when I enter the CSS.

You need a code for that, though? Wouldn't that be a file itself, somewhere in the music folder?

There is a file in the sound folder. It's called "2FFF.brstm" On the Brawl Custom Music page, there is a way to download a sng to replace it, but above, it says that a certain code is required to use it. As seen here.

I think what that means is simply that you should use codes when trying to replace music. You can always try replacing "2FFF.brstm" with a test music file, and seeing if it works without a code.

Well, what would be a file that I can replace?

Well, I can't remember if Brawl is picky about music length or not; I don't think it is; in which case, you can test by replacing it with a brstm from a stage.(I might recommend something that you'd easily recognize, like, for me, for example, I would choose the Gerudo Valley brstm to replace[From the Eldin Bridge map])

I tried it out, and on the CSS, the music doesn't load, even though I put in the right ID in both the code and the BRSTM file. Did I do something wrong?

Okay... Did I have to put in the same ID for both the sound file and inside the code? (2FFF)
