How would I go about doing this?

So I want to take PokeFloats 2 (http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=19920) and make some kind of legal (competitive) version of it. I was thinking maybe a platform with the Pokemon in the background or just staying on one Pokemon but not sure how I would do something like this...

You might just have PokeFloats as the background and rip Final Destination or something and put that as the actual stage.
