One of my mods (my Megaman Zero 3 recolor mod: http://www.mediafire.com/error.php?errno=378&quickkey=2p44d51x0swg51x&origin=download) was recently taken down by Remove Your Media , LLC on Mediafire for supposedly violating the Terms of Service  Shocked  Cry. My other 2 mods are perfectly fine (Mew Zakuro: http://www.mediafire.com/file/50gi62xte7z72wi/fitzerosuitmewzakuro.zip, and PS1 era Millia Rage: http://www.mediafire.com/file/1qorm19kk35z5e8/FitSZerosuit00MilliaPSX.zip  Kirby Dance). I'm curious if this is a valid case of copyright infringement  Police or if this company is just some annoying trolls  Evil. I have not received any sort of email in regards to the take down, and this is the first time this has happened to me. Has anyone else here had this problem? Otherwise, I'm taking all my mods down permanently, as I certainly don't wanna pay any legal fines, but would try to if I had to!

So, 2 things: The first is that I have also had a mod taken down (Before I put it back up) And I got an email about it, so it's probably not valid removal  (although I can't guarantee if it is or isn't)
The second thing is that most of the time, people will just get a Cease and Desist, and it's exceedingly rare to have to pay a fine

Well, now the problem is is that the company in question (Remove Your Media, LLC) now has my account DMCA'ed claiming I'm infringing on Viz Entertainment's rights and have several links posted to illegal downloads to pictures and movies and such (to which, I have no such media or links). Also, if I want to file a complaint, I'm supposed to enter a pin number on a page (claims its mediafire) but I can't enter anything on said page. I know mods (well, specifically mods that do use copywriten material such as Brawl mods which sometimes use model rips) are a legal grey area; but by the sounds of things based on what I have read online about this company, they are "legit" but not necessarily "professional" as seen here: https://anime.frikafrax.com/2015/10-3255/remove-your-media-llc-uses-inaccurate-evidence.html?doing_wp_cron=1508196493.1171309947967529296875 and here: https://www.reddit.com/r/youtube/comments/615nng/copyright_trolls_remove_your_media_llc/. I'm not the only person being affected by these trolls. More examples: https://www.techdirt.com/articles/20160731/22593035125/dmca-takedown-company-thinks-making-point-with-transparency-report-really-just-looks-like-jackasses.shtml and here: https://torrentfreak.com/anti-piracy-group-reveals-personal-details-of-counter-notice-senders-160730/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter.
