Hi,
I've seen people make custom stages, but I never know what program they use to make them. BrawlBox only allows you to modify stages. I want to CREATE stages.

What programs do you use to make custom stages?

BrawlBox, actually; we simply use external 3d programs, such as 3DS Max or Blender, for rigging and such, and then port them over by using BrawlBox

I'm a beginner at this, what is rigging? XD

Also, how do you make bones and objects and such? I use blender.

For Blender, you would use my tutorial here; it works the same on stages as on characters, but with rigging, I recommend instead to parent with Empty Groups and use Weight Paint to rig stuff to the bones:

Great tutorial, Windhunter7. I'm a newbie too and I've learned a ton from this. Cheers bro!

Don't sue the main BrawlBox builds, StageBox (a fork of BrawlBox) made just for creating and editing stages.

Unfortunately, Stagebox is a bit outdated and is not that much different.

Actually, someone is working on Stagebox right now, and made the last update to it like today, iirc, even.

Also, sometimes StageBox shows an error with "Index out of range", preventing me from saving it, which doesn't happen in BrawlBox. So I don't like risking making an entire stage just to have an error stop me.

Really? Can you link me to a newer version of StageBox?

Um, not really; but I can link you to the "Custom Brawl Modding Workshop" Discord server, which has a link to it
