This idea orignally came from Zesty of SoCalProjectM. This givves Mario a thwomp sound effect on his fair, so long as the play holds a taunt button.

Some Sound effects are removed to make the voice work. Hopefully i can bring them back

Sfx for russmarrs2's Pac-Man hack. It replaces every sound that Mario says with either sounds from the arcade game, or just silence.

Made some sounds louder, and also added new ones.

So, this is my first submission I guess...

I've actually wanted to make this for a long time, and I finally got the time to do it! I basically got a bunch of sound effects and voice clips from various Mario games and put them all together in one hack. I'm actually pretty proud of the result.

I'll probably make Luigi and some other characters sometime soon.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy it!

NOTE: I think the quality for 2 of the voice clips might be a little weird. I'll leave that up to you guys.

The main man himself, Mario, gets some new voice lines!

I never was quite satisfied by how he spoke in Smash bros so i decided to take my own spin at it, most of his voice lines are from Sunshine,64 and Mario Kart 64, with some others from Advance and Galaxy, its kind of rough around the edges but im willing to improve it overtime, any feedback can be sent to this account or to the youtube video linked in the preview.


Tested with LXP 2.0 (the one shown in the preview) and LXP 2.1 (Wii)

This soundbank is NOT the OG game sounds, as Sunshine had a total of three sfx clips for Shadow Mario that I could find, so I made my own.

I am aware the preview is not the SFX bank. If this is your reason for reporting, note it is NOT the OG sounds, simply ones that were edited from Mario's clips so he would sound more like Shadow Mario. this hack is meant to accompany a Shadow Mario PSA mod and is drag and drop, so you do not have to modify the soundbank or PSA to work, as they are already made over the original creators SFX IDs

EDIT : I don't know why but it seem the SFX freeze the game on Project M 3.6.

Includes footstep sounds, final smash sounds, taunt sounds, etc. (The up taunt sound effect is from Ultimate, so it won't look/sound right if you don't have the appropriate animation)

So I changed my name on here, I'm still the same Mexican Pygmy dude that I was before so yeah just an FYI.

Yeah it's mayro from supre smesh bras. It should work with Brawl, but PM alone uses a modified mario sfx so it might not work.
