But over Sonic, I don't use Falco that much.

Why Sonic though...? Wouldn't that be kind of hard to work? Falco already has textures though :P

I'd rather go a mile on a bike than a mile in a car when i can't drive.
Take the harder way with the layout you're more comfortable with.

As I told you, that Neo Metal Sonic is pretty awesome, if only you removed the mouth ( or seal it in other words ) and make his nose pointy, that would be pretty small details that would make big difference in my opinion.

Anyways V1 of him will be released after some slight edits that i need to fix. (Getting rid of his tail)

There is no difference, except colour.
And unlike people believe, no - his spines are not longer.

Make his shoes into purple and lavender socks, an angry face all the time, and give him big rings on his wrists and ankles. That's it aside from texture.

@Dingoberriez: The angry face can be done through polygons.. as you know =P
You could use one of Sonics alts as a base for the rings.
though I have to agree with you on the socks.

I know, maybe you could do Shaara over Zelda or ZSS? Not a sonic mod, but it is a sonic character :3 That'd be epic, to have both shaara and dark spine sonic/normal sonic in brawl. O and Erasor over someone (probably ganondorf since he already has a sword) would be epic.

Well, Erazor Djinn has a texture on Ganon already.

Your metal sonic looks amazing! I think you should keep the arms and legs silver and make glove cuffs and socks like you did with metal sonic overlord.

Also the bottom part in between the legs should be blue. *looks up at 10inch sonic figure and your hack* Your hack looks dead on :D

I have to say that i've been borrowing laptops like a madman, Metal will be released as soon as some extra vertexing from someone( I did some vertexing on my friends 3ds max 2011) and testing.( Don't ask, i already chose my 3 testers. )

In other progress, i have a unshiny Shadow i will hopefully release for the people who don't like the shine.

Can you do blaze the cat over someone next :D she's cool (no pun intended....*sideglance*)

Edit the Env01. Pavgn and Mastaklo's metal sonic have a great shine to start from.

Sonic has a special shine which is unique only to him. I have never even looked inside a Zelda texure, but there may be something that creates a shine on her.

Hmm you mean use the textures of the emerald characters and add the normal zelda's A and B textures in place of that? hmm I'll look into it :3

Hey hax, I was wondering how you get shadow to not smile? I want to have ikes right eye closed the entire time during game.

He changed the the smiling emotions with angry ones.

I would be quite llying if i said i did it (Started from one slot Shadow model) but you hex the vertecies of the faces. I can't really explain it in a good way.

u can make the smiles invisible always and the angry face always visible, although i dont know how this is done... OR u can morph expresions in 3ds max...

You can delete the other expression polygons..
it's that simple.

if u delete them, he'll have no face while at those expresion u just deleted, so u NEED to make the other one always visible...

hmm im still learning how to work the box and all but i have texturing down.

Ok so I just delete his face and keep the angry pain face... ok :)

I used some actualy bone editing here, so i can't really say that renaming the bones back would be a solution if thats what you mean.
