Title: Pokémon Trainer Final Smash... Post by: Tyeforce on July 31, 2009, 02:28:44 AM I need to make a FitPokeFinalXX.pac... Without it, the Pokémon appear as their original colors during the Final Smash. How do I make it? Do I have to combine the three Pokémon's PACs or something?

Oh, so I have to actually edit the texture? (Duh.) Sorry, I've never edited a texture before, so I don't know... I'll have to use my XP to use ASH, I guess. >_> It can be done with GIMP, right?Title: Re: Pokémon Trainer Final Smash... Post by: catgowoof on July 31, 2009, 03:33:39 AM Yeah, there is one +2 texture though.

Post by: catgowoof on July 31, 2009, 07:20:23 AM +2 (along with +1) textures (you can tell by the name) need too be indexed with GIMP or Photoshop too work (preferably Photoshop). Also too apply transparency too +2 textures, you need too use the magenta method.
Title: Re: Pokémon Trainer Final Smash... Post by: mnsg on July 31, 2009, 07:57:22 AM Just to let you know, the Pokemon Trainer's Final Smash is compatible with ASH, so you should be able to easily edit that Final Smash texture file.
Of course, before working on the Final Smash, extract the texture parts for all three of the Trainer's Pokemon, and place the folders in a separate directory. Next, extract the Final Smash texture and run The GIMP or Photoshop. Replace each texture part that the Final Smash texture contains, but do keep in mind that Ivysaur's Grass texture part requires an indexed palette. By the way, there's no Emerald Texture version of this Final Smash. Title: Re: Pokémon Trainer Final Smash... Okay, thanks. How exactly do I index Ivysaur's grass in GIMP?Of course, before working on the Final Smash, extract the texture parts for all three of the Trainer's Pokemon, and place the folders in a separate directory. Post by: mnsg on July 31, 2009, 08:39:45 PM I posted a thread relating to indexed textures. If you have Photoshop CS3 or CS4, go there for your answers.
http://kittycorp.freecp.net/index.php?topic=128.0 (http://kittycorp.freecp.net/index.php?topic=128.0) For The GIMP users, select Image > Mode > Indexed... to index an image. Keep note that most indexed textures need to be indexed through Photoshop since ASH isn't exactly designed to handle textures that were indexed through The GIMP. I can't afford Photoshop... |
