Title: An Issue (UPDATED 7/5/10) Post by: LightBrawler on July 02, 2010, 08:42:47 PM Because of me accidentally placing my SD card in the incorrect way, and me trying to get it out, it broke the SD slot.
Now, I'm trying to get my texture hacks to work via USB. I can get to Gecko OS via Homebrew Channel fine, and Gecko can read the .gct file, but not texture/hack files. Is there something I could do to get this to work? Anything will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. EDIT: 7/5/10: I was able to get a USB SD Reader, but for some reason it won't work at all. :( Title: Re: An Issue Post by: mariokart64n on July 02, 2010, 08:55:27 PM the game cheats are made to effect the SD slot.. I dont think there are any alternate codes to read from USB. I think your out of luck.
also, I never heard of a SD slot breaking like that. did you kick it in? whatever the case I also had to buy a new sd card reader.. only 40dollars Title: Re: An Issue Post by: LightBrawler on July 02, 2010, 09:14:37 PM Where would I get this SD reader at? Just wondering.
And for the record, I pushed it in the wrong way that it got stuck. Title: Re: An Issue Post by: flammable on July 03, 2010, 10:13:19 PM ive done that before >.> but i got mine out quickly xD

Oh... well thanks anyways. Guess I won't be able to use texture hacks anymore (not sarcasm). Title: Re: An Issue (UPDATED 7/5/10) Post by: JDub on July 05, 2010, 05:30:15 PM Why not just use riivolution? You can load textures and codes from the usb drive.
Title: Re: An Issue (UPDATED 7/5/10) Post by: LightBrawler on July 05, 2010, 08:45:26 PM What am I supposed to do now? I got Riivolution and such, I got the hacks in my USB, and I got the .xml and placed them in the correct areas I think, but it still won't read them.

Scroll down to Brawl and you'll see a file replacement code template. With this you can use the same setup as the file patch code, just having to add the _en to everything that has it. In fact here's a whole guide for Riivolution http://allisbrawl.com/forum/topic.aspx?id=144811 Title: Re: An Issue (UPDATED 7/5/10) Post by: LightBrawler on July 06, 2010, 02:05:08 PM I did everything the .xml file said, and it showed that I can enable textures and stuff, which is good, but when I load Brawl so it could read the codes, it just gives me a black screen.
