Title: Help starting up my Hacked Brawl.
Post by: mewmaster93 on July 09, 2010, 02:11:58 AM
I've been starting to apply textures and other hacks to my SD Card again, yet when I attempt to start it up, it freezes after the Strap Loader.

This is my entire PF Folder.
Any chance that someone could tell me if I did something wrong here, or might need to add some things in?
Please and thank you.

I should probably tell you the following...

Your Samus, Bowser, and Giga Bowser textures lack PAC files.  Without the PAC files, you'll get back the original textures when doing transformations.

Also, regarding Giga Bowser, his PCS file is useless, unless you're using codes that let you start matches as him.  Additionally, he only has one texture slot, which is FitGKoopa00.

Regarding your game crashes, your info.pac uses less memory than normal, so that should be fine, unless you did something wrong to it.

It's possible that your crashes may have something to do with your stages, especially since you're using .rel files.  Now, I have done my fair share of stage textures, but none of them involve the use of .rel files, so I can't really help you in that department.

I've tried removing the .rel files, but even with them gone the game won't load.
And I did not modify the info.pac file, besides removing the "_en" from the name.

The info.pac file did get modified though, since some of the textures in there look different from what's in the unedited info.pac file.

Anyway, why don't you start out fresh by using just the fighter hacks, followed by the stage hacks.  That might help you figure out what kind of hack is causing the crashes.
