Title: Porting Lucario Model over Pokemon Trainer Post by: spiderjjr45 on July 13, 2010, 05:50:05 PM Hey, I was wondering if it would be possible to port the Lucario model over the Pokemon Trainer's model. I know this sounds ridiculous, but it's not actually Lucario I want; it's Mewtwo.
Having Mewtwo over the Pokemon trainer would work GREAT with the Charizard, Ivysaur, and Squirtly clone textures, and while there is a mewtwo TEXTURE for the Pokemon trainer, a MODEL would be even better. By the way, don't just try renaming FitLucario into FitPokemontrainer or just replacing files, it's a little more complicated than a rename, switch files thing. Something about Pokemon trainer just doesn't like Lucario's files, and it freezes before you can even get to the SSS. Helping and telling people all the wrong things are 2 different things. If you don't know exactly what you're talking about you shouldn't try helping others. It'll only make what they want to do turn out worse.Title: Re: Porting Lucario Model over Pokemon Trainer Post by: spiderjjr45 on July 14, 2010, 01:58:54 PM yes it is possible rename FitPokemontrainer00 PAC OR PACS TO FitLucario00 .PAC OR PACS that will work No, it is waaaay more complicated than that. Here, have a guide. But, dammit, it freezes before I can get to the menu. Title: Re: Porting Lucario Model over Pokemon Trainer Post by: spiderjjr45 on July 14, 2010, 02:10:53 PM I saved the PAC of the replaced PkmnTrainer file as a PCS file as well, the size didn't really change (as far as I could tell), so I'm thinking there wasn't any compression. How do I force it to compress?
Title: Re: Porting Lucario Model over Pokemon Trainer Post by: JDub on July 14, 2010, 02:14:10 PM Open up your .pac and go to the ARC. To the left under Misc. you'll see compression. Change it to LZ77. That should compress it.
Title: Re: Porting Lucario Model over Pokemon Trainer Post by: spiderjjr45 on July 14, 2010, 02:27:31 PM Alright, I'm trying it now with the compression.
Title: Re: Porting Lucario Model over Pokemon Trainer Post by: spiderjjr45 on July 14, 2010, 02:30:29 PM Nope, still freezes before the SSS.
Title: Re: Porting Lucario Model over Pokemon Trainer Post by: JDub on July 15, 2010, 07:20:11 AM Does the model your replacing have less bones than the model replacing it. If so here's a bone adder fortwaffles made. What it does is just add "dummy" bones that have no impact on the model or movements.

Title: Re: Porting Lucario Model over Pokemon Trainer Post by: Megamewtwo on July 16, 2010, 11:56:08 PM Hmmm...Ive had a similar problem with a project I was working on,I fixed it by replacing all of the animations with the characters bones(GULP),Ill tell you how:
1.preview the model and open up lucario's animation. 2.export all three wait animations, and open pokemon trainers animation. THIS NEXT STEP IS BIG,AND TAKES DAYS TO WEEKS!!! 3.right click on the wait animations and replace with the 3 you exported. 4.in transform all, click on copy for wait 1,and paste in the first slide of all the animations. 5.You may have to do some bone editing,so do your best. 6.Make a copy of poketrainers motion pac,and click save in brawlbox after your done. 7.put it in fighter in pokemon trainers folder... AND YOUR DONE!Not to hard was it?
