Title: Riivolution question Post by: Scootaloo on July 13, 2010, 11:32:14 PM I just got Riivolution working an it is pretty awesome but I noticed a few things wrong with it.
1. I can't take out the SD card to update it with new textures or any other file without resulting in a freeze. 2. I can't take snapshots. Is there any way I can have these features back? Title: Re: Riivolution question Post by: mnsg on July 14, 2010, 06:49:56 AM Gecko OS is the better choice for Brawl hacking, especially since you can update most files without having to restart your game. Also, you're able to take snapshots like normal.
Of course, voice effect replacing is not possible with Gecko OS right now. And you also need the File Patch Code when doing Brawl hacks with Gecko OS; latest version is 3.5.1, but 2.1a (an older version, which uses less lines of code) is also available via this post (http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=5.msg3984#msg3984). I use Gecko on a regular basis. But what I'm asking is what Riivolution CAN'T do. I know it allows voice hacks and replacing movies, but what wouldn't it allow? Title: Re: Riivolution question Post by: Chuy on July 14, 2010, 09:53:13 PM Saving directly to the sd card for example
There's really nothing else it can't do Title: Re: Riivolution question Post by: Dark Aura on July 14, 2010, 09:59:54 PM Saving directly to the sd card for example That's all? Not too big of a deal. There's really nothing else it can't do But I tried downloading the.xml file, but it takes me to a blank screen. Anyone got one to share, and where do I put it?
