Title: Question about making your own Portraits
Post by: ChaosInvoker on July 20, 2010, 09:17:36 AM
Do you make a Portrait from the Pictures you take in game?

If so, what folder can I find them in and can I open the file in Photoshop or do I need to convert the file?

???
Thanks!

Take a picture from your character (Via Brawl, etc), and save it on your SD (It'll be saved as a .Bin file in Private\Wii\APP\RSBE\al\), use this: http://filetrip.net/f1752-Wii-SSBB-Image-Converter-Bin2Jpg.html to convert it from .bin to .jpg

Then edit it on Photoshop (Eliminating the font, etc(Using a layer so it'd be invisible, and Index Color 256 I think) and save it as .PNG when done (Size 128x160)

I did want to point out that if you let BrawlBox do all the indexing, it'll keep the semi-transparent colors.  Photoshop and The GIMP removes all semi-transparency when indexing images.
