Title: Marth's neck...clip...thing... How does it come off?

THIS ACCURSED THING.

I tried making it invisible by removing its textures, but it appears as a solid black thing in-game, so it's gotta come off somehow.

I need to know how this is done.  @_@

<_<

Hex it out.

Your texture problem is because that one texture doesn't support transparencies. Only certain textures can. However it can be removed by removing the polygon. You can do this the old way (hexing off the polygon) or the new way (automatic polygon deleter). Hexing it off I think is more stable, but the automatic polygon deleter is easier, and I've never run into a problem with it. Here's a tutorial for hexing it off.

Dang it, BeyondYou! You ninja'd me!

And now I feel kinda stupid for making this post.  XD
[Awesome tutorials helped me out with the process of you guys' advices!]

Thanks for the advice, guys!  But now I have another problem.

Now he's glitching out in-game, making the game slow down almost to the point of freezing.  x_x

I'm assuming you hexed it off. I would recommend starting from scratch and hex it off again, at least that's how I go about it. And if that doesn't work, try the Automatic Polygon Deleter.

<_< Yeah. That tutorial is kind of dated and is more likely to have glitches. It's best to hex out the vertices and not the entire polygon.

Heres how:
1) In BrawlBox, select the polygon that you want to remove under the models "Polygons" folder.

2) In the box to the right scroll down until you see "vertex set." You should see a number in the box to the right of it. Remember that number.

3) Open up the "Vertices" folder of the model. Click each one of the vertex datas until you find one that has the same "ID" as that number you remembered from the "vertex set."

4) Right click and export that vertex set. Then Right click and export the model.

5) Open up them both in a hex editor.

6) Select all the data of the vertex set and right click and copy.

7) Then with your model open in the hex editor as well, hit ctrl+f. Paste what you just copied into the box and then have it "find" the data in model.

8) It should have taken you to where vertex set is in the model and highlighted everything for you. Right click and 'Fill With" zero bytes.

9) Save. Replace your model with this new one.

That worked like a charm!  Thanks so much!

In case you're curious what I was doing, it was THIS:

He's pretty much complete at this point, but I didn't know if I needed to get permission from the people who originally did the model used and such before putting it up.  >.>

I was just a tad bit annoyed that Zelos only got a recolored Marth while

- Sheena and Kratos got awesome vertexes on Zelda and Marth
- Genis got a texture on Lucas that's just too awesome to fix
- Lloyd is getting a complete model makeover

So I figured I'd try to fix that by making a redone version that actually LOOKS like Zelos instead of pinky Marth.
