Title: movesets
Post by: schlothc on August 04, 2010, 09:09:38 PM
hey guys, I just into texture hacking and I have a general plan to go about using it to the fullest.

I used the Dark Blue CSS that was posted on here, I forget the author off of the of my head but credit goes to him completely and the codes he provided which allowed for the alloys, the pokemon, sheik, zss, giga bowser, and warioman to be selectable on the character selection screen.
I would like to add custom colors for every character including CSPs (which I know is a lengthy process) but more importantly I would like to know if there is a way to setup different movesets with each color, and if not, is there a way to eliminate the extra characters (alloys, GB, WM etc.) so that I can add in character variations with different movesets so that I can keep the original ones in tackt (for instance, the cloud strife texture + moveset hack replaces ike's moveset either way, but I would like to use this character PLUS ike's original movset and the only way I can think of to do it is to eliminate a character)

Thanks in advance guys, I love doing this, I was big into mugen back in the day and this is feeling like such a blast from the past.

Hey, sorry but as far as I know you cannot make movesets for different colors or use the moveset and the normal character. The moveset file overloads the entire character. Also I have trying to get that same menu that you described you have, but I have no idea what to do with the long number codes, could you help me with that please? Thanks!
