Can anyone give me a tutorial on how to install/use USB Loader?

If you want to play with many codes, I recommend NeoGamma.  It has the gameconfig.txt. Check the BrawlVault resources.
In NeoGamma, set it up like this:

Hook type: VI (buggy)
Ocarina On: SD(using cIOS)
Altern. dol : No
Save Config : yes

Also, you'll need this (http://wbfsmanager.codeplex.com/releases/view/26808) to format your USB to WBFS and put the games on.

Is there a version of USB loader that works with Gecko?

Well, it reads .gct files. Just keep the .gct in "codes"

Its pretty stupid, but will the file patch code work?
And can you explain where the iso goes when you use USB loader?

Go for Configurable USB loader or cfg in short. The best one out there in my opinion, has a flashy interface, covers as well as updates can be downloaded directly from the app.

It also has the latest version of the ocarina code handler so you won't have to change your setup at all. As long as you enable the ocarina on the games you want to use it with, it works exactly like gecko os.

Ok, so i added the iso to the flash drive with WBFS Manager, and have a folder named
"inSDroot" with all of the stuff in in at the root of my sd card.
Am i done now?

I'm assuming you didn't have a custom IOS installed before?

What system menu are you on?

And I'm fairly certain you need to put the content of the folder you mentioned at the root of your sd, not the folder itself.

Yeah, you'll likely need a custom IOS ... been a while since I last set up USB loader on 4.2.

Just try if it works without installing a custom IOS. If it doesn't work I might be able to help you when I get back home. I should still have the required files on my SD card.

The reason why I said try Neogamma was because Configurable USB Loader didn't work with my 8GB USB. It works with my 2GB USBs.
Anyways, you'll need Hermes's cIOS 222 and 223.

Its says i need IOS249.
So i need cIOS 249, 222, and 223.
Is that right?
Do i need to add more?

No, it only installs cios 249. You need Hermes cios for the other cioses, here you go http://sites.google.com/site/completesg/cios/hermes-cios

Is there a version of Hermes cios without download things from the internet, like on that uses the files at the root of your sd card?

Download this (http://nusdownloader.googlecode.com/files/NUSD_v15aBeta.zip) and go back to the page I mentioned earlier and follow the steps in the 'offline NUS downloads' part of the guide. Then try loading Hermes cios installer again. It should install the wads you downloaded with NUS.
