I'm wondering if it's possible to vertex Dedede's hammer. I think it will screw up if I use the Jet Hammer attack...

I think you can, the Jet Hammer is a separate model.
Not sure tho, but I'm gonna have to try it someday if I want to make a minigun out of that hammer...
