how does one get a character model from another wii game, THEN turn it into an mdl0 file to be preview-able in brawl box. (i can never get a straight answer about this) i have some import wii games that i would love to get the models from, but i need to know that first step! any help is much appreciated Title: Re: how to import other wii game models... this thread has all you need for importing models from other games. the only thing is, is that the file format must be .mdl0 to begin with. the first post of that thread has a bunch of games already checked to see if they have .mdl0 files, and usually what programs you need to extract them with. to get them to work with BrawlBox will require some hexing, but i think the first post of that thread also has an auto hexing program, but it also has instructions on how to do it by hand. this can be done with any .mdl0 file, meaning characters, items, and stages could all be imported and used. but if you're doing a character, http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=9248.0 (http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=9248.0) this will help you get the character ready for fighting with as few glitches as possible, after you get it working with BrawlBox first. i now see that there is a program needed for extracting, but do i just put the wii disc in my computer? and then run a program? :>.>palm: i feel so stupid that cant even get past the first step! You then extract the files from Wiiscrubber and then run the tools.

(i might just give up on this) i wanted to see if i could character models from 'Negima?' for the wii, a fighting game (its not on any list of wehter it uses mdl0 files or not so i wanted to try) Title: Re: how to import other wii game models...
