I'm looking for something that's pretty upbeat from the start and has no lyrics or an instrumental version of a song. My menu is really boring right now, and you can help!

For anyone here who played Killer7 (most likely no one here), this is what plays at the end of the first stage when Harman first fires at Kun Lan.
Another excellent choice is the character select screen from Marvel VS Capcom 1;

"Homicide Moon"; upbeat rock song
Check out OceanBlue's other songs on his vault, he has some really good ones; they're all upbeat and really epic.

All his songs with the description on the right
"Track _ of remix album 東方JeuXinTerdiTs by IOSYS"
are really good. There's like 6 total there
It has lyrics (sort of), but the Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 character select theme is a hilarious choice for when you have friends over. Anyone who's played the game will immediately burst into fits of laughter and/or rage upon hearing it.
