Title: Can someone Help me please Post by: jb1sax2 on August 29, 2010, 03:06:23 AM So i just started hacking and i uploaded some different textures for peach onto my sd card... and everything works fine until i get to the stage selection screen... it freezes every time i go to pick a stage, I have tried all the costumes and they all do the same thing (cause the freeze.) I have the files named correctly and placed in the right folders but whenever i attempt to pick a stage with peach, it freezes...
I have gecko, and riivolution downloaded and it happens with both of them... can someone help me, is there something i am missing and just havent downloaded yet? Title: Re: Can someone Help me please Post by: mnsg on August 29, 2010, 06:43:08 AM I'm assuming that this problem has to do with the stage selection screen. Did you edit anything to sc_selmap.pac? If you did, make sure that it uses less memory than normal. This also applies to common5.pac if you're using that file.
If it's the stages themselves, make sure that they too use less memory than normal, and replace the proper stages. The file, sc_selmap.pac, is used for the stage select screen. It's responsible for the stage select icons and names. It's also part of common5.pac. Again, if you modified anything on that file, make sure that it isn't corrupted, and that it uses less memory than normal. |
