Title: Project Imp Midna *Moveset Beta sketches are up!*

This project is all about givig Imp Midna a moveset!

Yeah, I think she needs one. Right now I'm working on one that doesn't have the leg bones static and walks on the ground. That way, she'll be able to have her own moveset.

BASICS

Floating. It's a must. I'm thinking that instead of me putting this in the model, and causinng all sorts of animation problems, we put it in her basic idle, walk, and run animations. Ducking she'd probably be on the ground for, probably covering her head. Shield she should probably have her arms crossed in front of her face.

ENTRY

I'm picturng something like a Twlight warp. Maybe have a bunch of shadow bugs or smoke or whatever come down from the sky, have Imp midna appear inside the cloud, then they all scatter.

ATTACKS
Now these I'm going to leave to you creative minds here. Most should probably be darkness element, and if possible, use the effects of the shadow bugs from Adventure Mode. (they come out of the Primids' backs, and they were also used in the Gerudo Prince Moveset for Ganondorf to make dark auras). I expect Midna to be a heavy magic user, so phyysical attacks aren't really meant for her. She should probably have some electric type moves in there too.

I'll post a link to a mediafire download of the grounded midna once she's done.

That title is VERY misleading.

Most people won't know you're talking about Midna until you change the Title.
They will probably assume that you are talking about those "Vampires" that sparkle in the light.

I assumed this was for Twilight Princess, but yeah some people might think this is about those movies.

I can see where you get that.

that's why I'm very eager to see that movie "Vampires Suck"

Anyway yeah I'll give it a different title, just didn't want to go with the name of the character as the project name. I'll also upload that model as soon as I'm done, should be relatively shortly.

In the meantime we should be brainstorming moves for her.

Side B: Twilight Blade: Y'know how Midna broke Wolf Link's chain when he was penned up in the castle? Well, I'm thinking somehting like that would be good. Travels fast, does repeated slice and dark damage, but doesn't to much per hit, say 2-7%

Thursday for me. I'm not really honestly able to PSA hack, but I'll see if I can't brainstorm more moves. I could probably draw out base animations for them too during my study hall.

K well I've been drawing some basic stick figures for the moves. You're going to have to take some liberty with the legs and make them look like they're floating. I need some ideas for the side special, up special, and down special.

Anyone want to pitch some ideas?

Well, her Final Smash should obviously be the transformation into the giant spider thing. =O You know, once she uses the Fused Shadow?

Sadly I don't think that is possible.

Anyhow, I've completed the moveset sketches. I hopw Hollow can animate these well.

THINGS ANIMATORS NEED TO KNOW
Thsese sketches portray the GENERAL GIST of the move. You'll have to make them more fluently animated as you see fit, and change anything that can't be done.
^Areial: It's the same as Zelda's, but with a dark explosion instead.
Back Areial: It's the same as Mario's, but there's a dark/electric explosion at the tips of her feet, that's the "sweet spot" for the move.
Smash > A: Same as lucarios, but with dark damage, and of course, she floats.
Side B: Hair Whip: Deals dark damage, and works similar to ZSS's side B, also having the ability to grab ledges.
Up B: Same as Side B
Down B: I didn't include it on tis, because the animations will be up to the animators. Basic atack can be charged whilesome indicator of range is shown, getting bigger with the charge. Attack can be released, making midna dash around and hitting all opponents in range, doing dark damage.

Okay, well then what would you need me to change. I had a feeling this was asking a little much, I was just trying to make the PSA and animations more like Imp Midna rather than a bunch of recycled animations from other characters.

Aren't people able to take models of stage props and put them in characters, including entries? 'Cause I was thinking that someone could take that twilight portal from the bridge of eldin, that repairs the hole from the bulbin bomb, and arrange it so either midna jumps up from the portal like mario's entry, or midna just appears in the middle of the portal and floats forward till in the spot that characters spawn in. Only a suggestion, I'm likin' this. BUT.............................................. ................................who does she replace? I don't care who, but you could put it over shiek, maybe with no sfx but the graphics sounds. Your choice XD :\/ woof

God, maybe. Balanced kick-@$$ combo god, like jin kisaragi, with multiple movesets to her disposal if possible, absolutely. Man, if only they had a good psa for Zoroark, they have two different online offline texs. That I can vouch for, including wolf link to go along with midna. I know I am a little off-topic, the thing just randomly came up in my weegee fried yet Chuck Norris fixed head of mine and I felt like posting.
I had a signature once. Best not talk about it.
Nice sig, I wish I had a custom sig of my own.

Well if someone made a God PSA of Midna it should be when she gets the different fragments(forgot the names of them) and transforms into that huge monster thing(Final Smash idea? with fire effects in the shape of the monster). And as for the psa currently at hand, it is a good idea.... i'm just a bit spectacle on some of the moves, and also if this does come out as a good psa, maybe someone could add some sound fx? Midna sounds would make me fall in love with the psa if done so.

Well ok, if you all want her to transform for a Final Smash then I would suggest porting over Bowser.

But I don't think that would be a very good idea for a Final Smash.
BlackBoo I'm loving your moveset ideas so far, they are accurate to Midna as a character.

You mean the Fused Shadows? And you mean that she turns into the Twilight Fused Shadow Beast with the magic breaker spear/lance? Yeah, that is going to require a lot of imports, and tons of other stuff since the transformation will have to be placed over bowser like DARKSHADEDX said, with the chaos emeralds ported into the fs and the replacing of the chaos emeralds on that port with the model of the fused shadows except for the one on her head hopefully, AND imported SFX's to go along with it. In other words, this'll get messy. (YES! XD ) Also, fire effects won't work, you need an imported model to operate, since you can't make elemental effects have bones and distinct appendages. Yes, I'll be here all week long. Next!

I am so glad that you guys are doing this PSA.  If you hadn't, I might have gone insane from Brawl's lack of Twili awesomeness. =P
