Title: SD Card problems?
Post by: Pinutk™ on August 31, 2010, 04:22:49 PM
Yeah more problems people.... so I was trying to use my SD card today, I played 1 backup today and the homebrew channel displayed all my app's properly, it took a little while but it did. So my SD card is a 2GB sandisk which the write protection button broke off of and I had to put tape over it :-\
So I wanted to play my backup today but NONE of the files in my SD card are read, I need to install a wad forwarder but I probably can't. ANYONE HAVE SOME HELP!?!?!?

Is it maybe time to buy a new SD card...?

Yeah I guess, I would like to buy a 4 GB one if possible, I know with SDHC hey only work in the Wii if you have 4.0 or  up and I don't really want to update. Smexy signature btw ;D

I tend to buy SanDisk brand storage devices.  Find yourself a new SD card if things aren't going right with your old one.  However, be aware that Brawl only reads 2 GB or lower SD cards; SDHC cards won't work.

I don't have a reason to use Riivolution though. Well for the most part I got this  fixed so I'm going to lock this topic bye :P
