Title: Text box in PT's Final Smash palette problem Post by: deathstar45 on August 12, 2009, 07:59:02 AM I'm trying to create three Final Smash Pac files for Pokemon Trainer using the team-colored Pokemon by Dragon. In ASH, I go through the usual procedure, using Photoshop to change the +1 and +2 textures to indexed textures. In game, the Pokemon themselves look just fine during the final smash. The text box area on the bottom, however, where the words "uses critical finish" and "It's super effective" appear have a totally different palette than what it's suppose to be.
So, I go back to ASH and extract my created Pac files and, sure enough, the TGA files of the text box (the files in the folders, 22InfWeapon0028_01, 23InfWeapon0028_02, and 23InfWeapon0028_03) have a completely different palette than before I created them. Can someone help me get the text box show correctly: Here are the three pac files that I created: http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=bb7ea3d41d4648650dec85adfe0a530ae04e75f6e8ebb871 Title: Re: Text box in PT's Final Smash palette problem Post by: milkaholic123 on August 12, 2009, 08:01:51 AM Hold on I'll fix em.
EDIT: What were you trying to do? Title: Re: Text box in PT's Final Smash palette problem Post by: deathstar45 on August 12, 2009, 08:22:00 AM I'm trying to make Dragon's team-colored pokemon show correctly during their final smash instead of them reverting back to the game's default costume colors.

Title: Re: Text box in PT's Final Smash palette problem Post by: deathstar45 on August 12, 2009, 08:47:34 AM I changed those files in Photoshop to include an indexed palette of 16 colors. Otherwise, ASH would give me an error message saying that the maximum colors allowed was 16.
EDIT: Alright, this time I started from scratch and I ignored the maximum colors message, and now it shows correctly. Here are the fixed Final Smash PACs if any one wants them: http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=bb7ea3d41d4648650dec85adfe0a530ae04e75f6e8ebb871 |
