Title: Ike as DAE
Post by: NecroMasterX on September 05, 2010, 05:03:21 PM
Yeah, I've been trying to use the program known as will's converter to turn ike into a DAE file, but it never works when I import it. So can someone turn This:

into a DAE file for me?

Why don“t you just use the ais-converter?

shoot...
I've tried to get ike before...
I have it done with will's but AIS doesn't work correctly...

once I get internet back, I'll send the dae for ya...

or better yet, a blend file with will's import...

I have a place on my forum where I'm working on getting the full rigged models of each char in brawl...
so far all I can get is Pikachu...

I have to use will's and AIS to get an import in blender...

you have to replace the AIS export triangles, with the Will's export triangles...
after that, you need both importers:
1.4.0 imports the perfect rig only (when set specifically)
1.4.1 imports a mesh with vgropus, uv's, and materials...
as well as a malformed rig...

just replace the 1.4.1 rig with the 1.4.0 rig...

best left to what I can do...

Where can I find the 1.4.0 rig? And what is this rig anyway.

sry XD
I've gotta start realizing people arn't game developers like me XD

the rig is all the bones organized in a specific way...

look up blender tutorials for rigging on YT to fully understand what I mean...

you can get the rig without editing the triangles...

but if you want a mesh to go by...
you'll have to replace the triangle objects in the dae (open the dae in notepad)

I've made a tutorial on how to do this sometime back...
so I don't feel like re-typing everything again...

I may make a video tutorial when I get my net back...
