Post by: Bush on September 05, 2010, 05:15:33 PM

Color his normal eye and his FS eye to the 2 colors, then it would just be hexing out one FS eye and making his FS eye always visible.

I'll make a brief video for how to give a character 2 different colored eyes I guess. D:

EDIT: It's converting then I have to upload it. >.>

I made the kirby though.

Heterochromic Kirby (http://www.mediafire.com/?yl3e1g2ef0y6w06)

And the tutorial is here if anyone wants to learn how to do it yourself. (http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=13960.0)

to do that... the correct way...
basically you'd have to change the uv texture index in the object...
and add a texture to the list to create a seperate eye...
(this is recomended for someone who knows what they're doing)

I could tell you with a bit more detail as well as images if I was using my computer... <:(

My tutorial was just a means for anyone to do it with little effort. It's just a nOOb friendly way. Nobody besides RTB (to my knowledge) has done any successful UV Mapping for characters or any other means to un-mirror textures.

I'm not talking about UV mapping... (although that is easy)
I'm talking about switching the link that links the UV's to the texture

add a texture to the brres and hex the texture link... (not sure just how to yet)
this will be alot easire when I finish my importer/exporter

I think you can change the texture that a model references by changing the reference in Textures1 and Materials1... is it like that?

My method is just a simple way that anybody can do with little effort. Even if it isn't the absolute best way. It's just something anybody can do.

Mediafire seems to be down today. That's why the link isn't working. <.<
