Title: sc_secharacter.pac help. Post by: PT2r on September 05, 2010, 05:25:09 PM New here, but been hacking for some time time.
Anyways, does anybody have any tips on keeping your sc_character file small? The only things I have up their is a custom css (made in css org 2.0) and a few CSPs, and Battle portraits for about 3-5 characters. Yet I still get freezes. I've seen people with twice as many stuff on thiers and they don't get freezes. Any type of help would be appreciated. - PT2r Title: Re: sc_secharacter.pac help. Post by: mnsg on September 05, 2010, 06:40:12 PM File size issues. Make sure that sc_selcharacter.pac uses less than 3,975,244 bytes (3.79 MB) when modified.
One way to reduce its file size is to adjust the quality of your portraits. Try making your portraits use less colors by adjusting their palettes. Title: Re: sc_secharacter.pac help. Post by: PT2r on September 05, 2010, 07:14:35 PM Thanks, though any specific way I can do this? I use GIMP.
