Whenever I try to preview a model in brawlbox, i get fuzzy lines everywhere.

sure, but not rite now.
Do you mean you see the Character in a wire texture?
Click the top bar in the preview box and deselect the 2nd option of the 3 (i think).
That should remove the wires.
