Title: 3DS Max Object Picking Error
Post by: Roo on September 24, 2010, 05:39:34 PM
I'm not sure If it's an error exactly, but whatever. Anyways, with the vertexing method by Vishkugeta, I try one of the final steps, conforming the verticies of Ganondorf's head to the edits I made on the DAE. However, in the morpher action, I cant select Polygon9Node (Ganon's head) when morphing the verticies over it.

I click "Pick from scene," and click "H" to select Polygon9Node, but it doesn't show up in the list...

HELP!!  :'(

Probably because you clicked "hide unselected" after importing your verts and clicking on the model part..
meaning you hid the verts too
just "unhide all" and it should be there.

No no no no no no no no no NO!! Not that. When I try to morph the verticies to the model (AKA: the head) I cant find the head in the "Pick object" list when you select the first empty space on the morpher. The list is completely blank.

Uhh, where'd you get polygon9node? Thats what the polygons r named when u first import the DAE model. Did you fix the model first?

it means it doesn't recognize that both models are the same.
you imported something the wrong way.
