my wii suddenly stopped playing discs so i'm using cfg usb loader to play brawl i got everything working for brawl+ except the file patch code doesn't detect the private/wii/etc folder yet it was the same directory i used in gecko os for brawl.  the codes all work it just doesn't patch the files, any one know whats going on?

Actually, this is probably the same problem I'm having. Codes are being detected, but the files aren't being patched.

i read ur post black boo, ur thread seems to be along the same lines as mine but i only have problems with it in cfg loader same gct works fine on my friends wii. suppose i can actually replace the files on the iso, but that takes longer. but if u figure anything out pm me. i'll keep u notified as well.

Why dont you just use Usb loader Gx ? i started using usb loader for brawl recently and it is working fine for me  ;D

 technically i'm loading from the sd card not a usb drive can u load from sd with gx too? not sure lol

How large is your SD card sir?

aw ok, seems like I misunderstood you  :(

sd card is 8gigs, it works fine to load the iso and the gct works fine in gecko too on the same card. it seems like it doesn't detect the private folder u use for patching, everything else works fine.

This is your problem.  Your'e going to have to load the iso from a USB drive and the hacks are on an SD thats 2g or smaller.

i see i'll save up for a usb drive then but for now wii scrubbers my friend. lol anyway thx for the help.
