Title: How do I get Gecko backgrounds to work?

I was browsing through the Misc > Other area once here and came across backgrounds made for Gecko. I downloaded the file and placed the image just how it was in the root of my SD card where it said in the description to go. When I launch Gecko it still has the default "Mayan ruins"-type background with the Gecko at the top. Why isn't the image file working?

rename it "background" and place it in the root of ur sd card
