Title: Problem with the Block Method ( for stages) Post by: Link40 on November 21, 2010, 04:10:19 AM Hi ! I wanted to make stages with Mewtwo2000's block method. So I began to edit a block in 3DS Max 8. The changes are shown in BrawlBox, but when I open the modified block again in 3DS Max it is like it was originally, it means without modification :srs:
Does someone know why it does it ? Thanks for your help :) Title: Re: Problem with the Block Method ( for stages) Post by: Quanno on November 21, 2010, 04:13:07 AM Try replacing both left and right version with your edited model. Maybe that would help.
Title: Re: Problem with the Block Method ( for stages) Post by: Link40 on November 21, 2010, 03:31:52 PM Ok it works now, Jokekid explained me why it didn't worked right, but still thanks for your answer
New problem ! When I use ForOhFor Error's method to position my models, it does nothing. Why ? :srs: Thanks again for your help :) Title: Re: Problem with the Block Method ( for stages) Post by: ForOhFor Error on November 21, 2010, 06:29:53 PM My guess is that you either didn't make an animation, or you didn't make the animation have key-frames instead of normal frames.
To change them to key-frames, go to the bone and the animation, and then press the bottom copy button, followed by the bottom paste button, as in: (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5869687/KeyframeHelp.png) This should make the frame a keyframe. Apply this to all models (the bones you moved) Also, I'd appreciate it if you posted any troubles in my guide's thread, so I see it more quickly. ~404~ |
